UBP Nicosia District Chairman, MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, in his post on the occasion of the International Children's Rights Day, called for “Let's all shout ‘ATHESCES’ together, especially on this day, before it is too late for innocent children”.

UBP Nicosia District Chairman and MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, in a post on his personal social media account on the occasion of International Children's Rights Day, drew attention to the fact that 5 children are killed every hour in Gaza and 7 babies are born between bombs and called for “let's all shout ‘ATHESCES’ for innocent children, especially on this day, before it is too late”.

Pointing out that Gaza is the place in the world where the most children have been killed in the shortest period of time, Ahmet Savaşan emphasized that since October 7, thousands of children have been killed and continue to be killed in front of the eyes of the world and that humanity is experiencing the darkest ‘World Children's Rights Day'.

Ahmet Savaşan’s post is as follows:

“Especially on this day, let's shout ‘ATHESCES’ together!

In Gaza, 5 children are killed every hour and 7 babies are born between bombs. Gaza has become the place in the world where the most children were killed in the shortest time!

Observing the right of the child means observing the right of humanity, the right of labor, the right to life, the right to earth and sky and finally the universal right to peace. Since October 7, thousands of children have been killed in front of the eyes of the world and continue to be killed. Humanity is experiencing the darkest ‘International Children's Rights Day‘. The most fundamental right of children, the right to life, is being disregarded. It is unknown whether the children living in Palestine will see tomorrow. Let's shout ’ATHESCES‘ together for innocent children, especially on this day, before it is too late!’
